ChimneyCompare is a directory. Listing data is compiled from public business listings, the companies' own websites and public certification registries, and refreshed monthly. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and the order of a list reflects our published scoring, not payment.

Ratings, review counts, hours, services and prices are shown as they stood on the date given and can change. Prices are medians of what companies publish or what customers reported; they are not quotes. Certification badges marked verified reflect a registry match on the date shown; everything else a company states about itself is its own claim.

Any engagement is between you and the company you hire. We do not perform chimney work, inspect it or guarantee it. Sponsored listings, if any, are labeled "Featured" where they appear and are never mixed into the ranked list. When we pass a quote request to a company we may be paid a referral fee by that company.
