We had some masonry around the chimney that looked like it needed attention, so we had the whole chimney inspected. They pointed out the areas that needed repair and also took care of the cleaning while they were there.

I scheduled the service mainly because I wanted some peace of mind about the fireplace. They inspected the chimney, cleaned out the buildup, and explained what they had found afterward. I liked knowing exactly what had been checked instead of just having someone clean and leave.

We hadn't cleaned the chimney in a while, so I finally decided to get it checked before using the fireplace again. They found some soot buildup and cleaned out the flue and firebox. Everything was left neat afterward.

This was one of those home-maintenance jobs I kept pushing back. Once they inspected the chimney, they found enough soot and old debris that I was glad I finally scheduled it. They cleaned the flue and firebox and left the area tidy when they finished.

The fireplace had mostly become part of the room’s decor because we hadn’t used it in quite a while. Before bringing it back into regular use, we had the chimney swept, and it was nice knowing that maintenance was finally caught up.
