Excellent with old buildings. Used lime mortar on soft Victorian brick and explained why.
Repointed the stack, rebedded the pots and replaced the flaunching. All three needed doing and only one of them was on my radar when I called.
Rang about a smell. It was a dead pigeon. Gone the same afternoon, cap fitted so it can't recur.
Small outfit, same two blokes every visit, and by the third year they knew the house better than I did.
Chase cover on the prefab had rusted through and was funnelling water straight down inside. New stainless one with a cross break, new cap. Half a day.
